Tonight we had our rescheduled dinner with Melissa Pond as the Guest-of-Honor. There's something special about reuniting with old friends; and it's amazing to see how, even though you haven't seen the friend in over ten years, it's as if you had spent time together last week... and picking up where you left off is effortless and wonderful.
We felt that tonight as the five of us got together with our families and enjoyed excellent food and great company. There was much chatting, Wii bowling, and attempts at getting some pictures (if you wonder why the smiles are so cheesey up there; it's because that was our third attempt and we were all laughing pretty hard.)
We really enjoyed catching up with Melissa and are sorry for those that weren't able to make it.
We wish Melissa, Alex and Roxey the best of success in Los Angeles. Melissa and Alex will be continuing their pursuits in their
acting careers. I made her promise she'd let us know when she lands roles so we can all check her movies out. :)
I look forward to more of these in the future. It really does rock getting together with old friends! Thanks all for coming tonight; it was awesome.
